I've visited Lemon Tree three times. Once in May & ordered the Greek Burger. It tasted great. Once in June, i ordered the chicken pita, which lacked flavor. And once last week, July 9th, I ordered the Philly cheese steak and was highly disappointed. The Philly cheese steak lacked meat, that i ended up putting the meat from both halves onto one half. And that still was not filling. And before ordering, i asked if there were mushrooms on it and they informed me no. When i received the plate, one piece of mushroom was on my plate. I asked this because my friend and i were sharing and she is highly allergic to mushrooms. That could have been a major problem. The wait for the food takes way too long unfortunately. Not sure what has happened with the management, but things need to change. I had originally really enjoyed it here.

Came here with my little family a couple of weeks ago. I'm not much of a breakfast person but the delicious menu had me at hello. I ordered the French toast which was divine and fresh. My son, an extremely picky 6 year old, order a plethora of random a-la-carte items and to my surprise, ate them all! That's how I know this place is a 5 star restaurant!

First time in this restaurant. But enough of not going back. It took 45min for our food to come out but NOT because they were busy. They only has 3 tables. Finally after asking 2 different server about our food we got the food. The salad was not fresh at all. Some yellowish leaves could see in the salad. The entree was ok. However non of the side dishes came with it. After looking 5 mins for our server again. We got our vegetable side 15 min later but it seemed that they took our vegetable dish out of freezer bag. Very cold and not fresh. The zucchini was smashed. Also Service wasn't good at all. Our server didn't even came to asked us if we need refill on our drinks. I don't recommend this place!

Very very slow. An hour for heat lamp food. Recommend if you want to spend your Sunday sipping coffee.

Yum!!! Had the most delicious lemon, ricotta pancakes here. My mom ordered the eggs benedict with hash and my son got the challah french toast. All were delicious! The serice was very good, too.

Went back a couple times since and had problems... Food was delayed and came out cold, some didn't come out at all. Seemed to be some confusion when it was busy, and the food was pilng up under the heat lamp. I sat at the bar and saw my meal come up, watched it sit for 10 minutes before they brought it to me and i had to return it. Food good, service issues prevelant.

I came here after class because every time I check into Starbucks, it pops up as one of the nearby locations. It seemed very quaint and I wanted to see what it was about. The reviews are very mixed, so I stopped by for a bite to eat anyway. They were not busy at all when I walked into the restaurant. They told me I could sit anywhere. Obviously on a beautiful, mild day in S. Florida, I chose to sit outside. They have a few tables for those brave enough to face the usually brutal humid weather. The menu has an exorbitant amount of options. I chose the broiled salmon, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The potatoes weren't on the menu though. I wasn't expecting those to come out on the plate. So, I have my unsweetened, iced tea and I waited for my food. I waited, waited and waited some more. After about 30 minutes, my waitress, Alexis, poked her head out to tell me that it wouldn't be much longer because salmon "takes longer to cook." Wait, what?? Salmon doesn't take that long to cook. Eventually, she comes back with my food. Two pieces of salmon?? Well, okay then! The salmon was okay. I liked the crisp edges. Of course, I like the edges of many foods to be crispy. The potatoes were real, had the right amount of texture that I like. To my disappointment, the asparagus was overcooked and mushy. She brought out some more, but it was just as bad. She was apologetic about it, but I definitely didn't want any more. I showed her my 10% off deal with my first check-in, which she took that and an additional 10% for the mushy asparagus. That was very kind and she didn't have to do that. I want to come back to check out their breakfast soon. Maybe some of the other reviewers are correct and they are spread too thin trying to please everyone. It is a cute little restaurant and has the potential to be great. Only time will tell. Oh, fyi: The ladies restroom was fairly clean. Thought that was important also. ;-)

Few restaurants have excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Lemon Tree is that rare exception. If you're in the Coral Springs area I highly suggest it.

Very cute place with a diner feel. Food is made fresh but not hot. French Toast was good. My husband had a mushroom and cheese omelet which he thought was made to perfection. I had the turkey sausage and cheese egg white omelet which is suppose to be under 500 calories but with all the cheese in the omelet I highly doubt it. Besides that food was good. Bacon was made to perfection, very crisp. I would definitely come here again. Service was good too. Check Groupon for deals.

I almost got food poisoning at this place. My husband ordered a Cuban sandwich and the pork smelled horrible, bitter and nasty. I ordered a burger and it was totally raw on the inside. I got the worst pain after eating that one bite. Never again...

I've only eaten here twice, but I think twice is enough. The location is great and the space is large. Let me also just say that the service has always been great and the menu at a glance seems pretty nice, a wide variety of food and convenient for people on diets. Furthermore, the restaurant is kept very clean. All great positives. That being said... the food... not great. We had brunch both times. The eggs were decent, bacon very good. However, anyone can make eggs and bacon. Both times we had pancakes they were mediocre at best. We got excited when we saw the "Lemon Ricotta Pancakes" on the menu. We have them at many restaurants. They are our favorite. However, these tasted like regular pancakes. If there wasn't a slice of lemon on top of a large plop of ricotta in the middle of the pancakes, we wouldn't have known the difference. Also... warm, plain ricotta on top of what should be a sweet pancake... not appetizing. Furthermore, their "multigrain pancakes" are gummy and dense. Not worth it at all. The Eggs Benedict wasn't too bad. Their english muffins are actually quite tasty and are large, which is nice. The coffee is severely overpriced and not worth it. Don't get suckered in to 2 oz of macchiato at $3.50 a pop.

Took over 90 minutes for breakfast which they blamed on a large to go order...but seriously, it was eggs and toast and took 90 minutes. When went to pay the bill made a comment to the manager who claimed he didn't know anything since he just came in, no apology or anything. When we said we wouldn't come back he said "well you'll be missed" and walked away. Very rude. Food was good but took way to long. They didn't prioritize the in house customers and made everyone wait while they filled togo orders.

This place looks good when you walk in. The front counters full of pastries and different cakes that look great. Went in at noon time for lunch on a Saturday and it was roughly half full. Plenty of staff milling around the tables and the place had a nice vibe to it. Wish I had went for breakfast after what showed up.... A burger that was surely a frozen patty smothered in lettuce and some onion and ketchup. Nothing terribly bad but nothing good either. Passed on the french fries and went for some "vegetables". They were straight out of a can, you know those green bean medley you can get from Green Giant that you just boil... barf... We also ordered a salad that had shrimp skewers. The salad ingredients were.... let's put this nicely... past their prime..? half the salad was inedible, which means nobody checks the food prior to serving it. And the strangest thing I've seen was that the shrimp had remnants of egg on one side because it had obviously been placed on the same grill as the breakfast food. I certainly won't return but a bit of advice if you are going there. Stick with the eggs and bacon / breakfast items. (if they have a fishy taste look around for someone with grilled shrimp salad) Better yet, don't go.

I hesitated between three and four stars for this cafe. It's tucked right in the Publix plaza on Lyons Road by Winston Park, so don't give up if you can't find it...I promise it's there! My mother and I were promptly seated but it took quite a few minutes to get some more acknowledgment and for our server to come over. However, she ended up being very sweet and much quicker than when we were first seated. Everything on the menu looked great and it was pretty hard to choose. I ended up with a veggie burger and sweet potato fries as a side (they cost an extra dollar). It was pretty good..not the best I've had though. To me it was kind of just an average meal which is why I wasn't sure what to leave as my rating. I decided to go with four stars because the black and white cookie for dessert was just sinful. Overall, I do like this little cafe. The service was okay as well as the food. Unfortunately, I do wish the food was a little more memorable. I feel that though it was good, it could be better. I do plan on eating here again and updating my review in the future.

My husband and I ate here one time last year. It's right next to the vitamin shoppe which is where we shop. We decided to give this place a try I beleive we went on a sunday morning. The place is really cute on the outside and inside. From our surprise it wasn't busy. We figured maybe it's because it's a new restaurant. Our waitress introduced herself, she was very friendly. I ordered breakfast, an omelette with all the sides and my husband ordered their pizza burger. The food was good, just average but my husband commented that he LOVED his pizza burger. He said it was delicious. I'm sure we will be back to try some of their other food items. We recommend that you give this restaurant a try. Kudos to lemontree!!!

I ordered breakfast here and is was not good. I decided to have an omelette and since it was to go when I got to my destination and opened it up it was very soggy. The customer service was okay. I'm not a big fan of this spot and won't be back. But I see that a lot of people seem to love this spot.

First time at this place. I think it's been open about a year. I ordered the fried chicken dinner. My fiancé ordered the Rachel Melt. Pros: Decor is nice Restaurant is clean Staff are very friendly Cons: The broccoli soup was very watery and didn't have much flavor The vegetables are really mushy and taste like they are canned The chicken pieces were extremely small and fried to the point of drying out the meat The mashed potatoes were barely hot when they got to the table and were room temp during the majority of the meal Summary: this place looks nice, but the food is obviously prepackaged and heated up. I think they are probably better at doing lunch (sandwiches, etc.). We may try them for breakfast, but we won't be doing dinner here again. I think their prices are a bit high for the quality of food they have.

Great service, we had a group of about 10 and the service was very attentive and friendly. The food was good. I had French toast and potatoes. We had a delicious dessert Oreo madness! I would go back just for another Oreo madness!

Best diner in town. Hands down. Very extensive menu filled with options for anyone. Breakfasts are a nice size and cooked to order. Want a juicy patty melt? Delicious! Someone in the party dieting? There are a TON of options, even a Smart Eating section of the menu that lists calories counts. Service is typical diner style. Efficient and friendly. Atmosphere is very clean and open and super casual. Plenty of self parking. Somewhat hard to find because it's tucked back in a shopping center just south of the Sawgrass Expressway on Lyons.

While in town on business, we were looking for a place to eat. This place was not to far from our hotel. I am glad we decided to go there! I ordered a tuna club and fries. It was delicious! They have plenty of space and a good size menu. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back again when in town.

I was here about a year ago, but got take out. I was disappointed in my meal, the pasta was watery and had no flavor. HOWEVER, I just returned for dinner and decided to eat in. Everything deserves a second chance right? So my son wanted to sit outside, and that we did. It's Florida so of course it wasn't cool out, but the sun went down so it wasn't bad. The waitress was very sweet and came to check on us often. My son got the kids cheeseburger with fries and it was HUGE!! Seriously I could of eaten that as a meal for myself! I ordered the chicken stuffed with artichokes, which came with a side of mashed potatoes and veggies-EXCELLENT! I am not sure if the cooks have changed in the past year, but the food was amazing. My chicken melted in my mouth and it was so juicy with lots of flavor. *check in on yelp and get 10% off your check!* I will def be back here, this time I want to try brunch! :)

Had an awesome morning here at Lemon Tree Cafe. It's the first time that I had their Chicken Noodle soup and I liked it. The creamyness of the soup, I enjoyed every last drop of my soup. The fried oreos where also good, my friends said the same. Service was kinda not good, I don't know why but I am having this feeling that they can't do anything good when it comes to their service.

Wife and I have been to the Lemon Tree several times. First time when it was fairly new the service and food was top notch for breakfast. Giant portions and fresh. We have been back a few times and will not return. Service has declined each time we have gone. They seem to have a staff shortage when we were there last and there were flies on the "bar counter" that I could see from my table. Manager running around like a chicken with no head on. He could not do it all himself. We just wanted a relaxing experience but wasn't possible anymore at the Lemon Tree as everyone was just so panicked (servers). Sad to say there are very very few good breakfast restaurants in Broward county anymore.

Great diner style restaurant behind the gas station on Lyons and Winston Park Blvd. Quick service and a nice staff. It was pretty busy when we showed up yet still only took about 10 minutes to be seated. The wait actually a good thing because I got a chance to check the specials on the board up front. I didn't see them on the menu but then again, my mind was already made up. :) They use a generic type soda and the girlfriend actually likes it better than diet Coke(her usual drink of choice). I'm more of a tea kinda' guy. I decided to go with the country fried steak and eggs, grits, and wheat toast. Everyone knows I love me some country gravy! Probably one of my favorite things on the planet. The girlfriend decided to keep it simple with some sunny side up eggs, sausage, and grits. This is what I expect when getting breakfast. We'll be back.

Been going to this place for the past two years. I've only gone for breakfast so I can't review their lunch but breakfast is great! They make the best egg white sandwich I've ever had! The cost is a bit high and if you go on the weekend the wait can be long...but it's a great place for a good hearty breakfast.

A favorite place for amytime breakfast! The food is fresh & the staff is friendly & its very clean! It gets super busy on the weekends but all 4 of my kids enjoy eating here so they wait. For the past few months, Ive been coming here once or twice a week with friends & we have never been disappointed! Great qualoty & great service! Oh...and the bacon is excellent!

Service continues to be great and the food is good too! Janelly is the best server! I've been 4 times now and requested her 3 of the 4 times. The biscuits and gravy are delicious!

The hostess seemed busy I asked for the table outside not having seen that there were three open tables when she told me it would be a long wait.we sat at the counter..haven't sat at a counter for breakfast in forever. The hostess never gave us any menus so I borrowed the nice gentleman's menu siting next to me.i asked if they had wifi and they do also yelp offered 10% off out billl thanks yelp! Randy got a breakfast skillet and I got 2 eggs and bacon with grits..love grits!! We got our food and NO SILVERWARE..um...I guess they are a little busy...ricki who wasn't our server helped us more than our server refilling our coffee and getting our silverware. The eggs were good...not hard to mess up sunny side up..I didn't try randy's meal..it kinda looked like a mashed up omelet ..his had peppers, sausage and hash browns it looked good though. Our original server is now kinda obnoxious asking 3 times in 4 minutes is everythng ok?? She should have brought us silverware instead of constantly asking within a minute if everything's ok..to be honest it wasnt. The only server who is on the ball was ricki..I still have no clue what our servers name was. The place is busy..clean..the cooks are hustling orders out.. I would come back and sit with ricki..she was great.

  • Mark B.

Another update...still not up to the standards as when this place opened. While they still have some of the best bacon around...the service was quite slow for only two tables of guests. The kitchen is slow and a bit unorganized. After 15 minutes of ordering we were told that they were out of their signature Lemon Ricotta Pancakes...and it was only 7:30 am. While the food came out hot and fresh, the portions on certain items have gotten smaller. Lemon Tree Cafe could really be great if they get back to how things were just a few years ago.

My best friend & I got together to hang out for the day & she took me here. We were warmly greeted as soon as we opened the door. Very friendly staff. We ordered omelettes that were good and filling. Loved that you could substitute the potatoes for a delicious fruit cup and the fruit was fresh & tasty. We couldn't finish the entire meal. A lot of food at a great price. Next time I must try their unique variety of pancakes. They have an Oreo or chocolate chip flavors that I must check out! Would definitely go again.

I was pretty skeptical about this place not sure how it would taste. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and got home fries and let me just say wow! Delicious! And the pancakes were awesome! Yum! I will deff come back for more!

While it might not be your typical Jersey style diner (those are few and far between in Florida anyways), Lemon Tree Cafe is a great choice for breakfast from my experience. Unfortunately they don't get the traffic they deserve as they're in this little corridor on the Coral Springs/Coconut Creek border, but definitely worth checking out. Every thing is new and beautiful on the inside with flat screens showing ESPN or Premier League soccer games which is appealing to me. Food has never disappointed and is pretty good value. Haven't tried them for dinner yet but I plan on it.

    (5)
  • Emily J.

Kind of a miss. Been twice and haven't even considered going back. For the price, the food is mediocre at best. Maybe it caters to the older crowd, but I've sat indoor and out and nothing is too special. They do have quite an array of food, which may be why they don't have any special type of dish or flavor to anything. I mean if you are hungry, go for it, but there are much better options in the area.

Consistently great breakfast here. When I went for a salad at lunch it was over the top good.

I was working nearby here on a Saturday afternoon. I actually came in without checking YELP first. That's how hungry and rather weak I was feeling. That gamble paid off and I really enjoyed my lunch. Service was friendly but a teeny bit lacking. I ordered a cup of matzoh ball soup and a Philly cheesesteak. I think I was brought a bowl of soup and I ate it up. The broth and chicken and noodles were excellent. The matzoh ball was a bit off. Not like I would make or get from Howleys near me or at a too jays. I still ate and enjoyed it. I asked that the sandwich come out in a to go box so I could eat half and take the rest home to my Mr. He's the lover of them and I knew he would want it. I was surprised at how much I liked it! Really tasty and soft bread, tender meat and fresh peppers and onion. I think the cheese was provolone which I prefer. The fries were fine. Thick steak fries. I loved the pickle! I'm definitely eating here the next time work sends me to the area.

My family and I absolutely love the food. We find it fairly priced..they give big portions also. I had a Friday beef club with sweet potatoe fries and the sandwich was huge and the fries were perfect, u could even tell the oil in the fryer was clean haha. I wish they would deliver full time though.

  • Jessica V.

If you are starving this is definitely the place to go they are not skimpy on the serving size! I've tried several things on the menu and breakfast is my fav but the salads are also heaping with all kinds of goodness. It is a cafe style restaurant so keep that in mind with your expectations. The staff has always been friendly and helpful with suggestions. It is very clean from the dining room to the restrooms. Also, They have outside eating that is pet friendly. Finally, they do their own baking and sell tons of decadent goodies!

  • Jen B.

This place is amazing!! The sheer number and variety of items makes you wonder how the cooks can possibly pull it off. But then again, they don't just pull it off - they rock it! The food is great, and the desserts are fantastic! The service is great, too - really friendly and efficient. Go - you won't be sorry.

My husband and I went on the 4th of July. We had NO idea that the place was closing at 4. We get there at 3:25, sit and when we order out meal, my husband asked for the chicken salad club. The waitress says TO US "we just had someone return that back, I'd go with something else" and all in all we felt RUSHED! Before ordering the waitress said on 3 different occasions "you may want to order before he starts shutting the grill down" and laughed about it. We will not go there again needless to say. This was the short version of our FIRST TIME experience there.

I went there for dinner and the place was rather deserted. They serve dinner on Thursday through Saturday nights only. Service was very good. But the food was sub-par and overpriced for what they put on the table. This place may be okay for breakfast and lunch, but I would avoid it for dinner.

  • Jared S.

Tried this place out with a buddy of mine for breakfast. Once I saw the chicken and waffles, I knew what I was getting and we both actually wound up ordering the same thing. Service was good and didn't have to wait long for a table. Ordered some coffee which was brought to us rather quickly. When our food finally arrived, everything looked and smelled delicious. I enjoyed my meal, chicken was nice and crisp and waffle was cooked perfectly. My friend on the the other hand was not as fortunate. After taking a few bites, he noticed that his chicken was raw inside. We notified the server who apologized and comped his food. I would think for something like this a manger would at least come over and show face, but that didn't happen. Not sure I will return after this.

Located right nxt to LA fitness. New, nice, and clean. However food was mediocre. Nothing special. We ordered the following: fried pickles : good but too much breading chicken parm pasta : was okay grilled chicken salad : just a normal salad french toast with starwberries : kinda soggy. eggs benedict : was good. wish it had better presentation tho. There was nothing special about the food. presentation was ok. Wish the waitresses/waiters were more knowlegable about the MENU?!?! We asked for recommendations and she stuttered..and said "i guess.." a lot. Felt a little awkward.Ended up giving us few dishes to try but didnt even know where the entrees were located on the menu--you would think the manager will train their employees to know the menu front and back before having them to work on floor?? didn't really seem professional either. But maybe it was her first day. At least she was friendly and nice. My friend told the waitress that the french toast was kind of soggy and the waitress goes "oh..well.. (shruggs) yea idk why. at least its sweet right?" -_-...?

Great place with excellent staff & good food. Maria aka Heather, our server, was very friendly and personable. The food was made quickly and large portions. The French Toast was very good. They have a large menu with a variety of choices. Looking forward to coming back again to try other selections.

Two stars. ONLY because we had a really great waitress who is also a manager. Both me and my sister didn't not enjoy our breakfast. My eggs were over cooked. My potatoes had absolutely no taste. My sister's French toast had no taste. The restaurant is great looking but we did not enjoy the food. On the way out we noticed that some pastries were not refrigerated, that truly should have been, and some desserts appeared very dry and needed to be discarded just by the appearance. Really expected much more.

I couldn't even give this place three stars, the service was horrible our waitress gave off a vibe that made us feel unwelcomed. From not giving the greeting of the day to taking 15 mins to asking if we wanted something to drink. The food was ok but the service left a bad taste in my mouth.

We love this place! The food is always great, the servers are friendly and know the menu, the cafe is very clean! We walk or bike there regularly for breakfast or brunch. The pastries and Challah bread is made in house. They use this bread for the French toast and it's delicious! We've never had a bad experience here, it's definitely worth trying.

Terrible! I do not like to give bad revews, but this time it is a must. Despite there being only one other table with people, the service was appalling.! The waitstaff stood by the kitchen gossiping while we waved and called out asking for service only to be ignored. I asked Alicia the server what could she suggest from the menu, she looked at me with a blank expression on her face and suggested moussaka and added that I would have to come back for it as they only serve it in the evenings. I then asked what were their popular items, she said: "nothing really we have only been opened for a year". She forgot part of our order and disappeared, we have had to wave at another person and explained that part of the order was missing. The Benedict eggs were overcooked and the corn-beef came from a can. I would have ignored the mediocre food if the service would have been equally mediocre, but the service was appalling! Not come king back here :( ONE thing I must give to them is that they did not charge for the forgotten side dish.

The food was pretty good, although my omelette came with fruit that was old and had a piece of green pepper in it. There was nothing special about the menu though. Reminded me of the episode of Seinfeld where there was a restaurant trying to serve a little bit of everything. I'm not sure what you specialize in. My problem was with our server. he was cocky and arrogant and in the end served us the wrong type of breakfast meat after tooting his own horn while at the same time putting down the other servers working there. Honestly, servers who think I want to hear their opinions about other employees annoy me. I don't want to know if the kitchen is backed up or if the other servers are inexperienced. I just want my food. Knowing what goes on behind the scenes is none of my business.

Ate here once for breakfast and it was honestly not bad. However, ate here last night and there were very small pieces of GLASS in the quinoa chicken dinner. Told the manager and his reaction was a very dull "wow... what's that? It does feel hard, I'm not sure what that is. It's hard and clear." I said, "it's obviously glass." Yeah your right that's for letting me know. I wasn't looking for a handout, but he had the same reaction as if the food was slightly overcooked. There was f'ing GLASS in the dishes! Never coming here again and don't recommend this place to anyone.

Have eaten here a number of times and have been satisfied but today I ordered my usual breakfast of Eggs Benedict w no muffin... I was brought a bowl of 2 eggs, a bowl of hollandaise sauce and 2 pieces of ham on a plate...when I asked the waitress about this she replied that's the way it comes when you order it without a muffin...I've then asked where my hash browns were and she said that does not come with hash browns. I told her I had eaten there many times and had the same meal and she said sorry hash browns do not come with that but you can order some, I declined but I did ask for more coffee which it never arrived. I was charged $12 for two over cooked eggs, a piece of ham and one cup of coffee. I won't be returning to this place again!

Food was delicious but pricey and unfortunately, service was not up to par. Bought a livingsocials deal which was only valid during weekdays. Made me really nervous that during a week day when the restaurant is more than half empty, the service still isn't attentive. Definitely can't risk bringing family/large party on weekend that's for sure. Hope they improve otherwise their great menu will be going to waste.

I really wanted to like this place because of the proximity to my house and the diverse menu. I should mention that I am writing this review off of one dish. I was craving chicken and waffles so I decided to give this place a try. Since majority of the negative reviews were related to service, I decided to order take out and bypass that aspect of it. To me, chicken and waffles is a fairly easy dish but also easy to mess up, and boy did they! First, the chicken had the strangest thickest batter ever. I believe they took some left over waffle batter and used that to fry the chicken. Weird. Then the waffle was too thick and chewy, like the batter had the wrong ratio of flour and water. One sort of positive is that once I scraped off some of the thick batter off the chicken, the chicken underneath was moist and seasoned well. Overall, not a good experience, but not the worst....I'm willing to give this place another try because I love brunch and they have a promising menu. Also, it's really nice on the inside ,although they could use a new dessert display.

Visited today and our service was terrible. We did not get straws, our server did not put ice in our glasses, requested creamer and sugar and never got it, drinks took 15 minutes to come and food even longer. We were given no silverware to eat with.

Great food, great service, don't be misled. This is the real deal. The best! The food is fresh made to order. The staff is attentive and cute too. LA fitness folks fill the place before and after workouts. Try the waffles and fried chicken, delicious. Homemade pastries and desserts.

ONE WORD .............. URG. This place concentrates on quantity and not quality. What a shame, I really wanted to support this neighborhood restaurant. The decor is great, but honestly the food together with the service sucks. I have been twice and twice walked away very unhappy. If they just concentrated on a few specialty dishes and not try and serve every kind of meal there is out there, I think they will have a better chance at survival. Good luck guys, not my kinda place.

I am extremly happy with the quality of the food and service I receive at Lemon Tree. I use to go to another breakfast place in the plaza and this DEFINATLY is much much better. The lemon ricotta pancakes are so good and tasty melt in your mouth, the greek burger is GREAT so big you have leftovers. Also a must try is the chicken with the quinoa. I eat there once or twice a week and I can truly say my experiences have been very pleasant. MUST EAT AND TRY!!!!!

Very good comfort food. Chicken pot pie was great. Salmon well cooked. Always seemed like there should be a late night crowd there - but they always seem to close earlier than we are ready to eat.

Ok I've really been trying to like this place as it is so close to my gym and very convenient to my house. First of all, full disclosure...I am a bit of a foodie so my standards may be higher than others. So I've limited myself to breakfast only when i come here. A result of another terrible lunch experience. So I come here with my wife thinking it would be nice to go out for breakfast. Never really expecting the quality of what I can make for myself at home in 20 min. But sometimes it's nice to go out right? We'll this just might be my last trip to this restaurant. It's not that it's horrible. It's just that it could be so much better with very little effort. This place is making $ in spite of itself right now IMO. Either that or people don't mind eating crappy food. Here's my problem...how hard is it to cook an egg!? Ok even I break an egg once in while while attempting to make an over easy egg but after a while you get pretty good at it right? The chef here are short order cooks at best. I do like the oatmeal here though. Of course they ran out. Yes I said it...they ran out of oatmeal. Have the commodity prices of oatmeal gotten so expensive that we have a hard time keeping oatmeal on hand! WTF! I mean there is a Publix in the same plaza. Ok so I'll have home fries. 30 minutes later the waitress finally brings the food. The home fries we received were raw potatoes. My omelette was undercooked. They ran out of oatmeal. After reading other reviers complaints about the freshness of the food I think I'll draw the line there. I mean really...it just wasn't meant to be guys. Wish you lots of luck but I won't be back.

Great new restaurant in Coconut Creek. We decide to go for lunch and was delicious. The asparugus omelet was perfectly done and the bagel was wonderfully fresh. My friend had the turkey platter complete with stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. It was fresh roasted turkey that was moist and the portion size was huge. It came with a side of veggies and a salad. The menu is extensive and does offer vegan and "healthy choice" entrees. And they serve breakfast all day. The entire lunch was wonderful. Our server was attentive and professional. The atmosphere is casual and they have huge tv screens to watch sporting events but the sound is not turned up so you can still have dining experience without the typical, loud sports bar. I would recommend the Lemon Tree Cafe to anyone. It's what the Coconut Creek area needs instead of another fast food chain. I hope they are around for a long time. We will definitely go back.

Lemon Tree Cafe has a huge menu. They have all types of food & something for everyone- including healthy low calorie options. We went there for brunch & they had eggs Benedict & their lemon ricotta pancakes with a big, freshly baked blueberry muffin. Good portions, price & taste.. We will be back for sure (especially for their muffins)!

Purchased a living social deal after seeing the great yelp review. The restaurant is cute and the waitress was friendly. As a table of two we ordered a turkey melt and a Cajun burger....waited about 20 minutes before the waitress came out and said there had been a mix up and another table had taken my sandwich and it would be right out...ok. Food was out about five minutes later. I feel 25 minutes is entirely too long to wait for two sandwiches but wasn't in a rush. When the food arrived we started eating, it was good but we realized both our orders were wrong. My turkey melt was missing dressing and coleslaw and the burger was missing the jalapeños and peppers that made if a Cajun burger...so maybe some other table go our orders and things seemed to be just generally mixed up. I asked for a side of dressing and got it...but the fact that neither order was served as it was described on the menu really isn't acceptable, especially after such a long wait. The overall taste was good though, so if they pull themselves together a little it could be the five star place yelp claims it is...but right now I think it's just friends of the owners giving it 5 stars.

I was really conflicted about writing this. The place is cute, very close to where I live and there menu was so diverse. I was excited to try it. Unfortunately as with many restaurants who try to be everything to all people with a huge menu they fall short. The menu is too big and they do nothing perfect. I expect to get hot delicious fries at a place like this every time because they are made to order - cold and soggy each time which makes no sense. The food was very mediocre and I know the chef cares because I've sent stuff back and he asks to fix it- I don't get the disconnect here and why that obvious concern doesn't translate into NOT sending crap out. I ordered a sandwich first time the chicken club was dry and flavorless, the fries grease soaked and cold. 2nd time I ordered Fish Chips - again cold, grease soaked and fishy, fries mushy cold. To be fair and because I really want an independent neighborhood place to do well - I did go back once more for breakfast which was markedly better so maybe breakfast is where they should focus. I was told they got a new grill and were having issues but several of my neighbors have tried it with the same type of varying results I encountered. I wanted to love this place because it's so convenient but the food is just not consistent enough to keep giving them my money. I see good reviews here so maybe I got them on two bad nights and maybe my neighbors again got them on bad nights but in this economy a restaraunt cannot afford that many "off" nights and stay in business. I sincerely hope they figure out where the issues are quickly and improve the quality.

My family and I tried it as it is a new restaurant in our area. , I had a corned beef sandwich and the meat was very tough in spots. My wifes order was incorrect and when we received the bill we were overcharged because of the mistake. My son ordered pancakes (his favorite food) and he said they were just o,k.. Our server seemed to be scattered and was working in different areas of the restaurant so it was not easy to get her attention. She had a few disgruntled customers around us because the felt the service was too slow. Definitely not in a hurry to return (if ever).

I ordered food over the phone and was told it would be 15-20 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant 25 minutes later to assure that my food would be ready, but was told they needed to box the food. I waited another 15 minutes while they did that. The whole place had about 10 customers so I don't think they were slammed. Finally, the hostess came and handed me the bag of food and walked back to her podium. I am in a wheelchair and while I'm independent and can get the door, I have never been to a restaurant before where some staff person didn't offer to get the door on the way out. Anyway, I got the food home and they had mixed up the sides, putting my fries with my husband's meal. More than that the food was just ok. The fries were soggy, the hamburger was grey and dry. The turkey club that I ordered on rye was on white bread. I was excited to have a new restaurant near by and really had high hopes for the place but I am turned off.

I went here with a group of friends. No one really liked it expect for my girlfriend. She had the egg whites spinach and salmon. She said it was very good. I had the double croissant french toast which was stuffed with strawberries. I don't know why they called it double it seemed like 1 croissant cut in half but I could be wrong about that. It had about 2 maybe 3 strawberries cut up in the middle. It did not taste like any egg had touched the croissant so I don't really know why it was called french toast. Another person with us got the Mighty Chicken Sandwich. She said it was so bad she wouldn't eat it after trying a bite. She also refused to send it back. Another one of my friends ordered biscuits and gravy but asked for the gravy on the side. When it came out the gravy was on the biscuits. He told the waitress who apologize and took it back to be fixed. Mistakes happen we did not mind. When he got it back it seemed like they just pushed the gravy off the biscuits. Later they brought more biscuits for him. Everyone else with us just did not think there food was very good.

Food okay. Waited incredibly long time for salad and reuben melt. Salad good, reuben greasy, corned beef not sliced thinly. All in all, not a good experience. Will not return. Natasha the server was very nice and apologetic for the extremely ling wait. Kitchen staff seemed in chaos. One ladies room unit. Woman with child took FOREVER. Very inconsiderate.

We visited Lemon Tree Cafe on the recommendation of a family member. I ordered breakfast and my husband ordered from the burger section of the menu. Let's start with the burger. Huge portion, juicy, perfectly cooked, accompanied by delicious fries, a small side of cole slaw and a pickle. If I had to rate the restaurant based on his meal alone, I would have awarded it 5 stars. But..... I ordered an Irish omelet which was made with corned beef hash and swiss cheese. The hash was not heated before it was incorporated with the eggs and therefore, never got hot. It tasted like the can it came out of. The swiss cheese was fine. The home fries had a funky smell. Can't quite put my finger on it but definitely an off-odor. I mentioned it to the waitress in hopes of getting something else but she just smiled and said, "sorry about that, honey" and walked away. I've always believed that if a customer has a complaint or concern about the quality of the food, it should be dealt with immediately, either by the server or a manager. What if I had become ill? I knew enough not to eat these funky potatoes. I'll stick to lunch options next time. And there will be a next time. Gotta give every new place a second chance!

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile as I always see special discounted offers advertised. Unfortunately I couldn't find any for the day we went :( I was very impressed with the variety of food on the menu. The decor was nice and it was aesthetically pleasing all around. I enjoyed my meal but my fiancee did not. The food came out super fast which was very helpful with a baby in tow. The server was not very attentive but she was very friendly, as were the other members of their staff. Nowhere seems to be cheap anymore, certainly not if you want a quality meal, but $30 (that was after tip and the Yelp 10% off) for breakfast for 2 people seems a bit steep. I would go back and would love to try some of their MANY other menu choices along with some of the awesome looking desserts, I'll just look for a coupon ahead of time.

I've had breakfast there twice and have no complaints about it. The food was good and staff has seemed friendly. Tonight I went for dinner thanks to a Groupon I purchased. The cheese sticks were cold on the inside and luke warm on the outside. The waitress asked if we wanted her to nuke them... which I understand is normal practice for most restaurants these days...but don't tell the customer that their food is going into a microwave.. When the cheese sticks were brought back they were on a bed of lettuce, which didn't make sense, but whatever.. The vegetable medley was only brocolli and the food just seemed...I dunno, pre-made? Just heated up? It wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing. I'll still go to support local food, but most likely only for breakfast or lunch. Oh, and the menu is HUGE.

This place is awesome. The bone in pork chops are to die for. The waitress alley was wonderful last time I was there. But i saw a manager standing on a customers seat to turn a fan on and placed it rite back without wiping it off.

Took my daughter to have breakfast this morning first day of spring break, I ordered an omelet with cheese. I get the order and omelet is overcooked with no cheese. I inform the server, it gets sent back to the cook. Within a minute, the order is back at my table, they took the overcooked omelet off the plate, unfolded it becuase i can see the it was charred on both sides placed it on the griddle reheated it, folded it, placed on my plate and threw cheese on it and expected me to eat it. I asked the server if they just reheated it and added cheese on it and the answer was "Yes, I told the cook to just put cheese on it". Then proceeded to ask me if I was expecting a fresh omelet so I said I lost my appetite so with that I was asked if I would like them to remove it from my check and without missing a beat I said yes thank you! I can't imagine how this was even allowed in light of the fact the manager/owner was standing at the pass expediting orders. The server informed them of the issue and no one bothered to come over and address the issue personally. Meanwhile, I let my daughter finish her pancakes which thankfully were not burned or dry while and I try to diffuse the situation for her so she isn't bothered with that fact that I'm not eating with her, the check shows up as if I'm being hurried along and being expected to leave quickly because I'm not eating. Nevertheless, my daughter was uncomfortable she asked for a to - go container for the rest of her breakfast she couldn't finish, packed it up and walked to register to pay. The young lady asked us how was everything asked and I said I didn't eat they screwed up my order and she said it was removed from the check, charged me for my daughter breakfast and walked away with out an apology or suggestions to remedy the situation. What ever happened to curteous, polite customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction? None of those things are apparent today and that should be the #1 thing small businesses should rely on heavily in light of this questionable economy. Coconut Creek Creek and Broward County can certainly do with out lousy businesses like this one, I'm ashamed to say I live in the same neighborhood where this business is. They need to take a close look at their practices and how they treat customers.

Wow, an nice neighborhood diner (my wife wants me to say 'cute', but i refuse) near Parkland/Boca that's not a bagel place. Sounds awesome, yeah......if only it was everything we wished for.. We went with a groupon/living social deal (can't recall which one) for lunch one Sunday. The place was 1/4 packed when we got there. I could already tell the vibe was missing something, something just felt not all connected. We ordered Tuna melt on Rye with Sweet Potato Fries Mediterranean Salad. Good but way too many sundried tomatoes (yes, there can be to much of a good thing). Kids had a egg salad club. My kids love egg salad but there was hardly any egg salad on it...lot of bacon, but I didn't order a bacon sandwich! We left with the impression of many. It was just ehhhh. But I really do hope someone figures this out. We need and want a place like this around here. But until I start seeing improvement (I guess by other yelpers) this is not gonna be on the forefront of my mind as the go to place.

I have been going to The Lemon Tree Cafe for about a month now. I have had Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner items. I have never had to wait for a table for more than 10 minutes (the place is HUGE), never had to wait for service for longer than 2-3 minutes, and have never had a problem with an order. They even have a Gluten Free Menu. The food is delicious, ranging from "old fashioned diner" food, to home-style to modern day dishes like Chicken and Waffle, and Breakfast is served ALL DAY! They even make all their own bakery items on the premises! (To die for!) They can even seat large parties! Open through Dinner daily, except Sunday. They even show your favorite sports on their big screens! At Lyons Rd. & Winston Park

My fiancé and I have come here for breakfast before and had a good experience, however being in the food industry for 20 years now, I am very particular and overly critical. We stopped in on a Friday just before noon and they were busy, but the hostess was pleasant and seated us promptly. I asked the server for her recommendation between the turkey and veggie burger and placed my typical, obnoxious order with substitutions and changes to everything. Not only was everything prepared perfectly, and delicious, but our server Ali was attentive and friendly, even though she was clearly very busy. A great lunch for us and a nice tip for Ali! We will be back!

I wanted to like this place. Really, I did. My mom had purchased an Amazon Local deal for the Lemon Tree Cafe months ago, and today we finally got around to going. We were quickly seated, and sadly had one of the worst waitresses I've ever encountered. She never introduced herself, only asked what we wanted to drink and then walked away. I asked for water while my mom got sweetened tea. Strangely, her sweet tea was carbonated, which was rather off-putting and did not taste good, so when we ordered our food, she asked for an unsweetened tea instead. Ten minutes went by, and still no replacement drink. So we flagged her down and my mom said, "Actually, can you give me a Coke instead?" Waitress doesn't say anything, just walks away... and a few minutes later brings back an unsweetened tea, and leaves without saying a word. My mom opted for the path of least resistance and just drank the tea rather than say anything. For our meals, my mom ordered the hot open-faced turkey sandwich, while I ordered an egg white omelette with cheese. The omelette comes with hash browns (which I requested to be well-done) and either toast or a bagel. I opted for the bagel. Our food comes, and looks good... except it's a not an egg white omelette. Now, I just ordered it because I wanted to try it, but not for dietary restrictions, so I didn't send it back... but at no point did our waitress check up on us, nor did a manager. I once again had to flag her down for a water refill, and when she returned, she handed us the check and quickly walked away... again, without saying anything. At least I didn't get charged the $1 additional for the egg white substitution. Throughout the whole meal, I just got the impression this girl really didn't care. I handed her the Amazon Local deal, and a few minutes later she brought it back saying it was only good Monday through Friday (until 4 pm). Okay, our bad, we should have read the fine print. But by this point this girl has left a bad enough impression that I don't WANT to come back here... but even if I did, I work Monday through Friday (until 5 pm), thus rendering the deal absolutely useless. So I flag down a gentleman who I assume is the manager, and told him how we won't be able to use the deal, so can he just give us the paid value (which is $10) since that doesn't expire? He says no, and to just call Amazon for a refund. Gee, thanks. I'm wondering if he trained our waitress in the art of customer service. Admittedly, our food was good, and we had enough left over that we had to ask for boxes. Our waitress grabs them and hands them to us... again, without saying anything. Another waitress spotted the boxes and asked if we'd like a plastic bag. This girl in the beginning of our meal had noticed we hadn't been waited on right away and checked on us. She wasn't even our server and took better care of us than our own waitress did. Since our waitress never said her name (we only found out it was Alex because the check said it), we asked this girl for her name in case we do ever return, and she told us it was Carrie. We told her we'd ask for her next time, and she smiled and said thanks, and that some people do exactly that. Given the other option, I'm not surprised. Perhaps Alex had an off day, but as my mom said, we felt like we were personae non gratae (check it out, I even did the proper Latin pluralization). Would we come here again? I'm not really keen on the idea. Lousy service leaves quite an impression with me. I'd only consider it because the food was pretty good, but I'd go only on the condition that Carrie (or really, anyone else) is our server.

I would recommend this place to anyone. Super clean, friendly staff, large menu serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food was good! I ordered the French Omelette which was chock full of potatoes, thick-cut meaty bacon and peppers. It was great. I noticed a few must try items that I'll be back for; Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Belgium Waffles stuffed with bacon, Souvlaki Pita, Salmon & Spinach Omelette, Oreo Pancakes, Multi-grain our Coffee Pancakes...I'm getting full just talking about it. They have a creative menu and the prices are good. Give it a shot and let me know what you have. I'll be back soon to post an update.

A hidden gem. This place was open for a year before we knew about it unfortunately. Everything I've had there is always great and fresh. It's nothing super fancy, but for lunch or a casual dinner you really can't beat it. I'm selfishly writing this because it's right near my house and I hope they do well. Oh and great pies too.

Haven't been here in a while not for any particular reason. Sat down with a business associate for lunch today. The establishment was busy but we were quickly seated and our waitress reviewed the lunch menu. The sound level was perfect for conversation and not too loud. Our food was served promptly and the waitress was accomodating. My Greek salad was magnificent. Crisp greens, colorful tomatoes and Klamath olives were pitted. I asked for my dressing on the side. Served in a carafe there was a liberal amount of tasty homemade dressing. I also received a side of toasted pita . My associate had a cheese burger served with French fries and coleslaw. He stated it was one of the better burgers he has had recently. It was juicy, tasty and perfectly done. This is a great lunch alternative to the fast food and quick service chains. I highly recommend it.

Thought that was important also. ;-)

I wish they would deliver full time though.

We love the breakfast here. The girls are always nice and pleasant. My 15-month-old son loves the pancakes here. Our favorite waitress is Karrie. I hope you have a good experience as we have had.

Burgers

Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
